This Privacy Policy describes how Color Sort ("we", "the app", "us") handles user information. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our players, including children.

Information We Collect

Color Sort does not directly collect any personally identifiable information. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information.

Game progress data (completed levels, earned stars, coins, unlocked items) is saved only on your device using local storage and is never transmitted to any external server.

Advertising — Unity Ads

Color Sort uses Unity Ads (by Unity Technologies) to display advertisements. Unity Ads may automatically collect certain technical information from your device in order to serve ads. This information may include:

  • Device advertising identifier (Advertising ID / IDFA)
  • Technical device information (model, operating system version)
  • Ad interaction data (which ads were shown and whether they were clicked)
  • App diagnostic and performance data (crash reports)

Child-Directed Setting: Because Color Sort is designed for users of all ages, including children, we have configured Unity Ads in child-directed mode. This means Unity Ads only serves age-appropriate advertisements and does not use behavioral tracking or personalized advertising identifiers for users under 13.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app saves the following data locally on your device only:

  • Game progress (unlocked levels, stars earned per level)
  • Settings preferences (sound, music, dark mode)
  • In-game currency, hints, and unlocked shop items
  • Daily reward streak and last login date

This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app or using the "Reset Progress" option in the game settings.

Children's Privacy

Color Sort is suitable for users of all ages. We comply with the Google Play Families Policy, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and applicable child data protection regulations.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from any user, regardless of age
  • No account registration or login is required
  • Ads shown to children are filtered to be age-appropriate
  • There is no chat, forum, or any form of user-to-user communication in the app
  • No third-party social SDKs or analytics tools that track children are integrated

Data Retention

Game progress data is stored locally on your device for as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data.

Advertising-related data collected by Unity Ads is retained by Unity Technologies according to their own data retention policies, typically no longer than 90 days for non-personalized ad data.

Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. Since Color Sort does not collect personal data directly, most of these rights apply to Unity Ads data — you can exercise them by contacting Unity Technologies directly or by resetting your device's Advertising ID in your phone settings.

You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising on Android via: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset Advertising ID or by enabling "Opt out of Ads Personalization".

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated through an update notice on the Google Play Store listing. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Continued use of the app after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
